The Rhythm of God’s Love

I was part of my friend’s launch team for her book and let me tell you, you’re gonna want to read this and read the book, “Love’s Lost Star” (available where books are sold, I pre-ordered mine from Amazon). I already told my friend about the book but I intentionally left this out until release day. Reading Jason & Cece’s story made me realize that I want to do something different in my walk with God this year. I want to rest in the rhythm of His love. I know that God is Love and that he loves me but I want something deeper with Him this year. Resting in God’s love means that I want to remain unbothered by life’s circumstances because He is my Shepherd, my Strong Tower, my Shield and my Rampart. I want my soul to rest in that Truth.

Jason’s and Cece’s story is about God’s forgiveness, restoration, provision, grace and love for us. How they first met reminded me of a couple dancing for the first time, trying to find their rhythm and one or both of them would have to adjust their dancing skills. But over time, they can confidently walk on the dancing floor and start dancing without any awkwardness. Give your hand to Your Bridegroom and completely trust Him as He leads you. Over time as you dance with Him, as He whispers His love for you, as you learn his Heart, you will completely rest in the rhythm of His love for youHis love will begin to manifest in your life in ways you couldn’t have imagined. Read 1 Corinthians 13.

Some of us can relate to having a past filled with hurt, pain, disappointment, and distrust with others. When we grow up like that, our perspectives shape the way we view the world and it takes a restoration process to occur for our wounds to begin to heal. Sometimes when things don’t go as planned, we sometimes question God. I definitely related to Jason when he had that fist shaking conversation with God and later seeing the result of his behaviors manifested in his room. Sometimes when we focus on our circumstances, it’s hard to see and understand the plans that God has for us. The devil can easily creep in and start twisting the truth and if we are not careful, we can fall for his schemes.

This year, I have made a conscious effort to personally study and meditate on God’s love for me. I want to dance with the lover of my soul and continually rest in the rhythm of His love for me. I want to experience the “dwelling” of God in my whole being and I want to become even more aware of His presence with me. No matter what I’m going through, if I’m on the mountaintop or going through the valley, God is present and He is with me. He will never leave me or forsake me, despite how I feel. He is El Shaddai because everything I need is found in Him. He is the “all-sufficient one”. When I sin, I know that God wants to bring me restoration and redeem me unto Himself. He is the Lord our righteousness, Jehovah Tsidkenu, and is the Lord who sanctifies us and makes us Holy unto Him, Jehovah Mekoddishkem.

After reading this post, read Hosea 2: 16, 19-20. The theme in the book of Hosea is about God’s relentless and pursuant love for us even when we reject him by being unfaithful to Him. Wow God, You love me that much that no matter what I do, Your sole purpose is to redeem me and restore me into your infinite love?! Yes God loves you and me. He sent his only Son to take our sins and right now, Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us. God’s mercy is something that we don’t deserve but yet He reminds us that they are new every morning!

Read Psalm 103 and rest in the rhythm of God’s love for you!

Warm Wishes,

Carline
