Decree & Declare!

 



It’s time to start declaring the blessings of God in your life! Listen friends, it’s time we start using our words the way God created us to use them. It’s time we recognize that “life and death” are truly “in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21). What have you been speaking over your life this year? What have you been speaking over your life when faced with circumstances, trials, hardships, etc? You get where I’m going with this?

Do you realize that as a Child of God (John 1: 12-13), you are seated with Christ in the heavenly places? (Ephesians 2: 6, Colossians 3:1) So, if you are seated with Christ in the heavenly places, then your “fighting stance” should be from the heavenlies and not from an “earthly” perspective. The Bible says that God has blessed us with all the spiritual blessings in the heavenly places because we belong to Christ! (Ephesians 1: 3). The Bible also says that we are “heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ” (Romans 8: 16-17). Friends, ponder on this question for a moment: have you accessed all the spiritual blessings and promises given to you in Christ? A great way to start familiarizing yourself with them is finding a topical Bible, start studying, and declaring!

So decide today to start declaring the blessings and promises of God over your life in a daily basis! The Bible says that we are supposed to seek God first (Matthew 6: 31-33) because when we are seeking God, we are seeking what His will is, and what has already been established in heaven. The significance of this is found in the prayer that Jesus taught His disciples: “Your kingdom come. Your will be done. On earth as it is in heaven.”(Luke 11: 2). When we are seeking His Kingdom first, we are not tapping into something that is non-existent. All the blessings & promises are already there and waiting to be assessed by our faith (Hebrews 11). Your faith, which pleases God (Hebrews 11:6), is the key that activates God’s blessings & promises in your life. We are praying that for what has already been & has predestined in heaven to be established here on earth! Listen, the devil doesn’t want you to know all of this because he wants to keep you bound. Jesus has come to set you free, receive Him today!

Let’s get you going on some of these (some scriptures included for reference). Job 22:28 states “you will also decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And the light [of God’s favor] will shine upon your ways.” (AMP)

I AM A CHILD OF GOD! (John 1:12-13, Romans 8:14-17, 1 John 3: 1-2)

I AM REDEEMED! (Psalm 111:9, Isaiah 43:1, Isaiah 44:22, Ephesians 1:7, Galatians 3:13, 1 Corinthains 1:30), SAVED! ( John 3:16-17, Romans 10: 9-10, Eph. 2: 8-9, Acts 4:12, Hebrews 7:25, Titus 3:5), SANCTIFIED! ( John 17:17, 19; 2 Thessalonians 2:13 & 5:23, Hebrews 10:10 & 12:10, 1 Corinthians 1:2 & 6:11, 1 Peter 1:2 ), and bought by the BLOOD OF JESUS! (Matthew 26:28, Colossians 1:20, Hebrews 9:14, 22 & 13:12, Acts 20:28, Ephesians 1:7,  1 John 1:7)

I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD THROUGH CHRIST JESUS! (Romans 3: 20-26, 2 Corinthians 5: 21)

I AM A NEW CREATION BECAUSE I AM IN CHRIST. I NO LONGER HOLD ONTO MY OLD HABITS! (2 Corinthians 5: 17)

I AM THE HEAD AND NOT THE TAIL, ALWAYS ABOVE AND NEVER BENEATH! (Deuteronomy 28: 13)

I AM BLESSED COMING IN AND BLESSED GOING OUT! HE WILL CAUSE MY ENEMIES TO FLEE BEFORE ME SEVEN WAYS! (Deuteronomy 28: 6-7)

GOD’S BLESSING HAS BEEN COMMANDED ON MY LIFE, MY PANTRY (STOREHOUSES), IN ALL I SET MY HAND TO, AND THE PROPERTY HE HAS GIVEN ME! (Deuteronomy 28: 8)

I AM HEALED OF THE LORD! (Isaiah 53:5, Jeremiah 17:14, Jeremiah 30:17, Exodus 15:26)

GOD WILL HEAL MY BROKENHEART AND HEAL ME FROM WITHIN! (Psalm 143:7)

I HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST (2 Corinthians 2: 16). GOD HAS GIVEN ME A SPIRIT OF POWER, LOVE, AND SOUND MIND. (2 Timothy 1:7)

GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN ME THAN he THAT IS IN THE WORLD! (1 John 4:4)

 

These are just some scriptures to get you started….speak them over your life starting today!

Crowded

  There were many crowds that followed Jesus during His ministry. Jesus did so many miracles, preached to so many, and had many followers. The crowd gravitated towards Jesus, and it didn’t matter where He was or how far He had to travel. When Jesus was preaching in the temple at a young age, there was a crowd. When He got baptized, there was a crowd. When a group of friends lowered their friend in front of Jesus, there was a crowd. When He saved the woman from being stoned, there was a crowd. When He healed the woman with the issue of blood, there was a crowd. When he rose up Lazarus, there was a crowd. He fed the five thousand, not including women and children…what a crowd! I could go on, but during Jesus’ ministry, you rarely read about Jesus not having crowds around Him. On The Way To Bethlehem

  You probably could tell the story of Jesus being born without even reading the Bible verses as reference. Just go in a store and look at their Christmas inventory. You would find scripture verses, angels, stars, wise men, shepherds, and the ever-famous Nativity scene. What is the significance of the Nativity scene? Can we integrate its importance and significance in our everyday lives? Of course we can! Its meaning is not just for Christmas time, it should be for everyday of our lives. Let’s reflect on the responses from “characters” in this story. Mary, the virgin : I am always amazed at Mary’s response during her visitation with Angel Gabriel and the posture of her heart throughout this story.
