What are you looking for?
Have you ever lost something? Yep! We’ve all been there! Some people lose socks, earrings, pens but have you ever lost a favorite or sentimental item? How about telling yourself “I’m gonna hide this here or I will place this there, so I don’t forget it” but you end up misplacing it anyways? LOL. I strongly dislike looking for lost or misplaced items. Sometimes I get so frustrated that I start crying and usually a family member has to calm me down. Life sometimes throws us for a loop and lately maybe the correct word is “a roller coaster ride?” Just when we think we have a handle on things, another upside loop or swivel throws us off course. We all have lost something in our lives. We all have lost someone in our lives. And sometimes, some of us has lost more than just “something or someone” in our lives. We all at some point in our lives are looking for purpose and meaning. What are you looking for in life? What has happened that brought you to this blog?
My name is Carline and to be honest with you, I am not a professional blogger or writer. I am a counselor and while it has its challenges, I immensely enjoy helping to facilitate change in people’s lives. I wanted to start this blog for the purpose of helping others find healing, hope, encouragement, and purpose in their lives. I am not going to write here and tell you that I know exactly what you are going through, but I will try my best to understand and at times can or will relate. Can we all relate to emotions such as anger, sadness, anxiousness, joy, happiness, contentment, etc? Can we all relate to situations that bring positive or negative stress, enjoyment, satisfaction, pain, hardship, etc? I believe that we can. We call come from different walks of life, but we all display similar emotions in certain situations or experience similar circumstances. Sometimes, we feel alone and feel like we are the only ones going through what we are experiencing. Truth is, we are not alone. We were created for relationships, for community, for belonging, for hope, for love, for purpose and a bright future. My faith in God has brought me this far and let me tell you, it wasn’t always easy navigating things in life. My faith in God has been the driving force for overcoming challenges in my life. I don’t know what you are looking for but I pray and hope this blog brings wholeness and wellness to your life. So, grab your “imaginary toolbox” and let’s fill it up.
Carline
